I had originally purchased a Hanks belt with the chrome buckle. My uniform is brass oriented and I need a brass buckle. It fit perfectly, it's solid and sturdy. Its also can be polished for uniform inspection days. I've owned a lot of uniform belts and buckles over the 45 + years of being a public servant. So far buckle works fine....however shipping paper states that this is a brass colored (plated) not, solid brass roller buckle as the site description state's. Time will tell, unless I take a knife blade to it and start scraping away to check. This bothered me and made me feel there was a possible bait and switch going on. For the price of the buckle and shipping it wasn't worth it to send it back.
