THe buckle itself is fine. Customer service was fine. The Hanks belt I wanted to swap buckles on is the issue. Whoever assembled the belt at the factory over tightened the screws holding the original buckle and it can not be undone to swap buckles. Tight is one thing but welded tight is nor good.

I've already responded to an email from Hanks regarding the belt. It's too thick (really, it's too stiff, not flexible enough to be comfortable). Since I've already put it on and worn it around the house for a while, I can't return it as it doesn't meet Hanks return requirements. It's not so much the thickness (narrow belts can also be stiff) but the flexibility. I won't be ordering another Hanks belts because of this.
