While wasting time on social media one day, I happen to run across an advertisement from Hanks, a belt maker. Not a very fun fashion item to most folks, I followed the link to see how they were different from the beltmaker competition that is so exhaustively present in our lives. Hanks makes handcrafted belts that are simply works of art. I'm no fashionista nor am I a leggy supermodel that would make for a great belt sales video but, I can attest that I am so very happy to have run across that ad on that particularly dull day in December. The best part that sold me on Hanks was their accountability for their quality control and product longevity. Lifetime warranty is not a term we hear any more - welcome to our fine corporatocracy we call America. It is refreshing that Hanks stands behind their product and I will stand with my jeans held exactly where I want them to be, thanks to Hanks and their fine craftsmen.
