I liked my old belt buckle that was black coated solid brass but my stomach area developed a constant rash for several months that would get itchy and irritated and never go away in the area where the buckle touched my skin. The brass must have some nickel in it.
I ordered this nickel-free stainless buckle and since installing it, I have had no more irritation, the rash appears to be healing, and the buckle is comfortable if it touches my skin. That’s what I need because I wear a belt every day and I need one a buckle that doesn’t cause nickel allergies on my stomach.

My son has an allergy to nickel. Over time the buckle lost some paint and he started to break out in a rash.
I emailed you all asking if you had one he wouldn't be allergic to and you did. I spoke to a few different ladies on your side and they shipped a buckle to him for free. Absolutely the best belts and customer service. I have bought two or three belts from you. I believe I have bought one for me two for my younger kids and plan to buy one for my oldest when he wears out the Walmart belt he bought. Thank you for making a great product my kids and me love them! I tell and show everyone about your belts so I hope you gain business from my friends and co-workers.

Solid buckle. Easy to switch out.

The stainless buckle was so good on my Canyon belts, I had to enhance a couple of straps that were sitting around and brought them back to life. Very impressed with Hanks belts and now their accessories. Highly recommend

Quick no issues with delivery, high quality product (belt buckle)

Great buckle

While the sturdy buckle itself is 5-stars, the old Italian leather belt on which this buckle is a replacement just can’t handle the heft and flops under the weight. I’m sure this buckle will easily outlive the 35+ year old leather belt which will likely be replaced by a strip of Hank’s leather in the very near future!
TODD M.
Won't have to buy another! Heavy duty and decently priced.

Yannick B.
Very nice quality buckle, stainless steel, will last forever

I like the #2 SS roller buckle over the standard roller that came with the Gunner Stitched. The #2 is quieter, doesn’t rattle as much as the standard, which my wife greatly appreciates! It is also has a more dressed and refined look than the standard. As I stated in an earlier review, I would like to see Hanks offer a buckle choice when ordering a new belt. I recommend!
Duane
Hanks products are unstoppable it took 6 years for that buckle to break

Great, heavy duty product.

A very nice stainless steel belt buckle that I'm sure it will never tarnish.
Thanks Hanks

Love my new Hanks Gunner stitched belt and stainless steel buckle.

Arrived within a few days. This is a really nice belt buckle (1.5” nickel free stainless steel #2 belt buckle). I replaced the original buckle on the gunner belt with this new one. Looks great.
Matthew R.
Love this new buckle!
Seth O.
no sharp points, very sturdy, no nickle reaction. love it!
Richard S.
Great
Christopher J.
It fit one of my other belts. I think it’s too thick all around for the Old World Harness belt which is also thick and really stiff.
I’ll try it on my every day belt at a later date.
Robert C.
Buckle was a perfect fit, and was an improvement in quality as a replacement. I was able to continue to use my current belt. I will be looking into purchasing more Hanks products. This was my first purchase, and was very satisfied.
Daniel S.
excellent material.

This buckle looks great with suede belt from Hank’s!
Christopher A.
Much better looking buckle for the gunner belt! IMO this buckle upgrades the look of the belt. Stick with this one!

Fantastic products. This buckle seems stronger than the others i had gotten hoping it last for a few more years.
Jesse S.
I got this this buckle to replace the the double roller because I'm obviously don't know how to use the double roller as I'm fighting with it but man this buckle is so smooth
David M.
Perfect buckle
James K.
very good
Pat A.
Nice buckle. I wish Hanks would allow custom buckle swapping. I asked that this buckle be installed on my Glacier Grey belt instead of the black color/style. The stainless buckle looks great on the Glacier Grey belt! Maybe in the future this will be an option.
Tadd E.
Roller makes using belt much easier.....as intended.
Pedro
Nice and solid. Can also use it as an option to add length to Premier or Old World Harness belts that come with the shorter buckles.
James W.
This style of buckle is the type that should be included on all Hanks Belts instead of the oddly small buckle that is included and takes up about an inch from the belt.
The hardware used to replace the buckle is another unnecessary challenge.
Hanks, you can easily do better!
William W.
Love the buckle as it is heavy, quality buckle that works well.
Walt S.
I bought a new Stitched Gunner Belt 1.5” and added the recently added new nickel free belt buckle. It is a perfect combo and looks so good together. I could not tell any difference in looks or quality from the older Nickel Buckle which I have on my first belt the unstitched Gunner belt. Everything has a great superior feel of quality over any store bought belt. I am very impressed with all my purchases from Hanks. I rate the belts and buckles at 5 stars just wish I had found this place sooner in life. I know my son will like them too when I pass them on to him. I not ever gonna wear these things out!

Work just as I hoped. The Gunner being as heavy as it is the belt flattens out a bit better than with the standard buckle. Looks and feels better. Thank you for your complimentary replacement. Exceptional customer service.
Stanislav
Great buckle!
Jeff
Recommended from a friend, now I will recommend it to a friend
Brandon
This thing is worth the extra. It looks way better than the standard buckle.
Milt Wetherell
This buckle adds a half inch in length which is what I wanted for the Premier belt I ordered. Perfect.
Walt Sonner
This is exactly what I was looking for! The kind of roller buckle that does not look like a roller! I switched it over to my new Gunner belt with your handy Chicago screws so I could . And now the belt looks nicer IMO, and it seems to roll even easier when cinching up my pants. Should be very easy on the belt with no or minimal scuffing of the finish. Well done Duluth!
Neil Eastham
It seems to have helped the skin reaction. I do not know why I did not think of this before, since I have had to buy nickel free eye glasses for years because they break me out
Grace Gery
My son gets a terrible rash all over his stomach any time he wears a regular belt buckle for even a short period of time. This nickel free buckle has been great! He wore it all week and did not develop a rash at all! So happy I found this for him!
Jacob
Awesome buckle! No sharp edges. I have a nickel allergy so having the option to get a nickel free stainless buckle is so important to me. It's heavy duty and comfortable. I mounted it on my 1.5in extreme belt from Hank's. It's an amazing, thick and comfortable belt. I use it as my gun belt and even with a heavy revolver on it there is no sag and no twist in the thick leather and is so comfortable to wear. Best belt I've ever had hands down!
Miguel Sisniegas
Great buckle and heavy-duty, I just wish it was a bit bigger to compliment better with the old world harness belt.
Troy
This belt buckle is high quality and I would recommend it to anyone
Gordon Schmude
Great!! Easy to change buckle also.
David Ohlschlager
Love the belt buckle, hoping you are able to get nickel free belt buckle when you buy a belt instead of buying belt and then having to buy the nickel free belt buckle after.
Paul Leonard
That says it all. So far everything I gotten from you is TOP shelf. Wish I'd known about you guys 45-50 years ago, honestly!
Walter Cutcher
Looks very good and gives me an additional 1/2” reach so that I can use original buckle and this one to accommodate “in between” adjustments for varying circumstances.
Robert Miles
Works great, feels solid, and makes my stitched gunner belt look closer to a normal dress belt. Well-made, just like you would expect from a Hank's product!
Gordon Dicks
Extra length in the buckle makes it much easier to cinch up a thick belt.
Edward LaHaye
The buckle is great and easy to put on. I would think after paying $60.00 for a belt, you wouldn't have to spend another $20.00 for the right buckle.
Mike Mowrey
Worked just as I hoped it would. The contour of the buckle works great on the heavy leather belt to keep the profile closer to your body avoiding snagging. Thanks Hanks, great products!
John Heard
Fast shipping, good quality
Jose Hernandez
I somehow broke the buckle that came with my belt so I purchased this one and it so far has held up a lot better! I don’t attribute the previous buckle breaking to hanks belts, but rather to my girth and activity haha.
Carl Springfels
Awesome that it’s Stainless. Looks like it does in the pictures online.
James Waters
Nice high quality buckle. Made to last.
Michael Reitano
Can't say enough good about Hanks Belts!
The Low Profile roller buckle is top shelf, and I don't even like roller buckles.
This buckle is longer than the regular roller buckle by about an inch, be advised.
The roller works well and is much lower profile than the regular roller buckle.
An excellent buckle.
Luke Scown
Solid materials. Working great.
Robert Russell
I like it very much.It makes it slimer where the buckle is and it doesn't stick out as much.
Justin L.
I really like the buckle, it looks nice and is holding up very well. I do wish there was an option to upgrade the buckle when you buy a belt though. High quality product.
Pete R.
Been great so far. Put this on a gunner belt, I cinch it tight work hard all day and holds up. Belt stretched a lot buckle makes it easy to pull tight get to that next hole.
Gary W.
The belt and the low profile buckle are both excellent quality products! I am now a dedicated customer of Hanks Belts and will refer my friends and family! Well, maybe not family...
