Recieved belt & realized i had ordered the wrong size. I repackaged it & returned it & recieved a replacement with no questions asked. One of the best experiences i've had at exchanging anything online. Oh yeah, very impressed with the belt also! Thanks for a great experience & belt!
Every so often you come across a Company that truly embodies the pride of what it means to say Made in the USA. I've only been Conceal Carrying for the last 3 years or so and initially I wasn't subscribing to the need of actually spending extra money for something called a conceal carry gun belt. However, it didn't take long like perhaps 6 months for me to realize that the $20 Levi's wide 1.5" leather belts picked up at BJ's wasn't going to quite cut it. Enter a 5.11 Tactical belt purchased at my local Bass Pro Shop for $40 or so and I thought, ok I sort of get it. I then went ahead and shortly after picked up a couple of 5.11's 1.5" Tactical ARC Leather belts on sale for around $40 each or so and I thought my conceal carry needs were being met and then some for my 20 oz Sig Sauer for the last 2 years that I carried as an EDC. Yet, interestingly enough every so often in 2nd Amendment and Conceal Carry groups in Social Media when the topic of Gun belts comes there are a few names that consistently pop up Nexbelt, Kore Essentials, Bigfoot belts and Hanks Belts to quickly name a few. Well, motivated by a discounted offer I couldn't refuse over the 4th of July weekend I put an order in for a Hanks Steel Core belt which seemed like the top of the line and then also put in an order for Xtreme 1.5" belt just in case after reading that the Hank's steel core belt may not be for everyone. Turns out that the Hank's steel core belt was indeed a bit much for my particular EDC needs and Hank's Customer service was outstanding in my being able to promptly return this without any questions asked. As for the Xtreme 1.5" belt that I've been wearing for the last two and a half weeks I am highly impressed with the quality, workmanship and that I believe it is much more of a true gun belt than even the 5.11 Tactical ARC Leather belts I had been quite happy with for the past 2 years. Not only that, but I also feel that if I need to step up and occasionally conceal carry a heavier then my 20 oz EDC, say a full size 28 oz or 34.4 oz handgun that I own or even a SA 1911 that weighs a hefty 40oz then Hanks Xtreme belt is the way to go. So much so that I went ahead and ordered the Xtreme in black as well and it has just arrived. In summary, the Xtreme 1.5" belts by Hanks are literally a no brainer if you truly want to step it up a few notches when it comes to conceal carry gun belts.
