Shipping was quick, was hesitant at first about the price but as soon as I received the belt I would have paid double for a reliable gun belt like this. Everyone now adays seems too concerned about inner/outer gun belts when thick leather is all you need. Was so happy I ordered another belt the night I received my first. Hanks has a customer for life!
Great quality belt. Just what I needed and wanted. Working on breaking it in but was comfortable from the very first. I suspect this will be my only belt for many years to come. My only complaint was the shipping. Hanks had it in the mail within 24 hours but they are using USPS and it took WAY too long (10 days)
The people at Hanks belts are great! Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Instead of ordering 2 sizes over your waist size, I recommend ordering 1 size over your waist size. My belt is in the next from the last hole. The belt itself exceeded my expectation. The construction and quality are excellent. I strongly recommend Hanks belts to friends and family and anyone wanting a top quality gun belt.
I am really enjoying this belt so far, from the time I got first one in summer, 2019. At this point in time it is contoured to my waist. Recommended size is one size greater than your pant size. This puts my normal position at hole two. At hole 1 the belt will barely catch the retainer, so hole two is the sweet spot. Because this is a 1 -3/4" wide and also thick belt, it does not fit in all of my pants belt loops, nor do I expect it to. But it does fit very well in blue Jean's and some other classic shorts. For me this is a working belt so I don't need it to fit dress slacks. I sometimes get wet, salty and sweet, but I have no feed back on how it fares should I get naughty with it. But if so, some Neetsfoot oil or the Hank's leather conditioner would be the right stuff, should this leather belt go swimming. My other brand belts are going by the ways, as my Hank's belts are replacing them, one by one. These belts are probably best cared for by hanging upright since the ones I have are not thin models. My older thin belts are coiled in a drawer. Hank's will coil too, but they need a more generous larger diameter. Thank's Hanks, I am loving the quality and I am sharing the news about Made in USA. These belts should also be the envy of International customers alike because quality is spoken, in todo el mundo, everywhere.
